Packmage CAD box template library updated

Packmage CAD box template library has been updated on December 1, 2012, it add the manual adjust offset mode which could better meet the requirements of the professional user. So there has both offset customized mode(A mode) and offset constrained mode(B mode) in the software. There are the details about the improvement:

1. The main difference between the two modes

1) With the customized offset mode the software no longer classifies the box templates according packaging material, instead it uses the box template structure to classify carton box templates, each box template can be applied with multiple packaging materials.

2) In the offset constrained mode, the offset/dust flap CMV value will be automatically calculated according to the caliper, in the offset customized mode this constraint relations has been gave up. User could manually modify the values according to the packaging material.

2. How to use offset customized mode

Most enterprises only used a few specifications of the packaging material during box template design and production, some of them summarized the offset rules of these materials on particular box templates, one of the most important reason of offset customized mode is to meet their request, the relevant parameters adjustment will be more flexible, users could adjust and save the box templates for their own purpose.

1) Select a box template.

2) Input caliper

3) Adjust offset, dust flap CMV parameters etc.

4) Click "Save", save the currently box template and parameters as the name easy to recognize. For example, template ID+packaging material+caliper, A014_300gwhitecardboard_1mm.

5) Click Library->My Folder->My Box templates, the saved box templates can be found there, once you need this box template in the future, you just need to find it and double click it to input the length, width, depth value to get the box template structure design done.
